As part of our U.S. expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate adoption across sports performance centers, physical therapy clinics, and elite athletic environments in California and Texas.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market adoption of Kinvent technology within sports performance, rehabilitation, and human performance ecosystems. This role requires a professional who combines clinical understanding with strong commercial execution, capable of building relationships with physical therapists, strength coaches, athletic trainers, and sports scientists.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in business development or medical/sports technology sales and preferably a background in physical therapy, athletic training, kinesiology, or strength & conditioning.

 

Key Responsabilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within sports performance facilities, physical therapy clinics, universities, and professional sports teams
  • Build and manage a high-value sales pipeline within assigned territories
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technology presentations both in person and virtually
  • Convert demonstrations into revenue through consultative sales and value-based discussions

Territory Expansion

  • Establish Kinvent as a reference technology in objective performance testing
  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in sports medicine and performance
  • Identify partnership opportunities with training facilities, clinics, and performance labs

Education & Market Development

  • Deliver educational workshops and presentations on objective data in rehabilitation and performance
  • Support Kinvent participation at industry conferences, workshops, and events
  • Collaborate with clinical users to build case studies and use cases

Client Relationship Management

  • Ensure a strong onboarding experience for new clients
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat purchases and referrals
  • Gather field feedback to support product innovation and market positioning

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, clinical education, and leadership teams
  • Maintain accurate reporting through CRM systems
  • Provide market insights to support U.S. expansion strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales
  • Experience in medical devices, sports technology, rehabilitation equipment, or performance analytics
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Clinical or Industry Background (Preferred)

One or more of the following:

  • Physical Therapist (DPT or equivalent)
  • Athletic Trainer (ATC)
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach
  • Sports Scientist
  • Kinesiology / Human Performance background

Skills

Territory

Primary focus on:

  • California, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, Orange County
