Kinvent Joins Montpellier Reine 2026 to Support Breast Cancer Awareness and Research

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, several Kinvent employees took part in the 17th edition of the Montpellier Reine, one of the largest charity events in the Occitanie region dedicated to breast cancer awareness, prevention, patient support, and research.

Under a summer sun and in an atmosphere that was both festive, supportive, and committed, nearly 11,000 participants gathered in the streets of Montpellier to walk or run together in support of prevention, screening, patient care, and breast cancer research.

For Kinvent, this participation went far beyond a simple sporting event. It fully aligns with our vision of health, our CSR commitment, and our desire to support local initiatives that have a tangible impact on patients’ lives and on our local community.

A Meaningful Commitment

At Kinvent, we work every day alongside the world of healthcare, rehabilitation, sports, and human performance.

Our teams collaborate daily with physical therapists, physicians, strength and conditioning coaches, researchers, healthcare institutions, and rehabilitation centers around the world.

This close relationship with healthcare professionals constantly reminds us that behind every data point, every measurement, and every protocol are above all people, life stories, personal challenges, and sometimes battles against illness. Breast cancer is unfortunately one of those realities that directly or indirectly affects countless families.

Participating in the Montpellier Reine was therefore an obvious choice for many Kinvent employees.

Beyond the symbolic aspect, this collective commitment represents a concrete way of supporting the actions carried out throughout the year by associations, healthcare professionals, researchers, and hospitals engaged in supporting patients and advancing breast cancer care.

The Montpellier Reine: Much More Than a Race

Founded in 2009 by the association “La Montpellier Reine a du Cœur”, the Montpellier Reine has become one of the major charitable events in the Montpellier metropolitan area.

Every year, thousands of participants gather for an accessible 4.8-kilometer route through the heart of Montpellier.

The goal is not athletic performance.

The goal is to come together around a shared cause.

The strength of the Montpellier Reine lies precisely in its ability to bring together people from all walks of life: families, associations, healthcare professionals, students, companies, patients, former patients, volunteers, public institutions, and everyday citizens.

Everyone can participate.
Everyone can contribute.
Everyone can send a message of support.

This accessibility largely explains the event’s growing success since its creation.

For the 2026 edition, participation reached a historic level with nearly 11,000 participants and a record €160,000 raised to support breast cancer awareness, prevention, patient support programs, and research.

Since its creation, the Montpellier Reine has donated more than €1.15 million to organizations involved in prevention, screening, research, and patient support.

A Cause That Goes Far Beyond the Finish Line

While the event takes the form of a run or walk, its impact extends far beyond physical activity.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women today.

Behind the statistics lie deeply human realities: lengthy treatments, physical consequences, psychological challenges, and impacts on family, professional, and social life.

The organizations supported by the Montpellier Reine intervene at different stages of the patient journey.

Some fund research programs. Others support patients during or after treatment. Some focus on prevention and early screening. Others provide psychological, social, or physical support programs.

This holistic approach is particularly important.

Health is not simply about treating a disease.

It also involves helping individuals rebuild, recover, adapt, and return to a satisfying quality of life.

A vision that strongly resonates with the values upheld by Kinvent.

Health, Physical Activity & Prevention: At the Core of Our Mission

At Kinvent, we firmly believe that movement plays a vital role in health and well-being.

Our mission is to provide professionals with tools that enable them to assess, measure, and support patients more accurately throughout their rehabilitation and performance journeys.

Beyond technology, however, we share a simple conviction: encouraging physical activity, promoting prevention, and supporting healthier lifestyles are key drivers of long-term population health.

The benefits of physical activity are now widely recognized across many areas of public health.

  • Prevention of chronic diseases.
  • Maintenance of independence.
  • Improved quality of life.
  • Reduced cardiovascular risk.
  • Support throughout certain care pathways.
  • Preservation of mental health.

This is why initiatives that promote movement, awareness, and solidarity naturally resonate with our company.

The Montpellier Reine perfectly illustrates this dynamic.

A Unifying Moment for Kinvent Teams

Beyond the cause itself, participation also represented a powerful team-building experience.

In a professional environment often driven by projects, meetings, international trade shows, and business objectives, taking part in an event like this creates a different kind of connection.

The kind born from shared experiences.

The kind built around common values.

The kind that reminds us that behind every role, profession, and expertise are individuals driven by convictions and a desire to make a positive impact.

On the morning of May 31, Kinvent employees gathered before the start of the event to share a friendly moment together before joining thousands of participants.

The atmosphere reflected the spirit of the event itself: warm, caring, and deeply human.

Corporate Social Responsibility Beyond Formal Commitments

Corporate social responsibility is not limited to metrics or institutional commitments.

It is also built through concrete, local, and collective actions.

At Kinvent, we are committed to encouraging initiatives that enable our employees to contribute to projects that positively impact society.

This commitment takes many forms:

  • Charitable initiatives;
  • Local engagement;
  • Health awareness programs;
  • Environmental initiatives;
  • Support for causes of public interest;
  • Promotion of workplace well-being.

Participating in the Montpellier Reine perfectly reflects our desire to act responsibly and consistently with our mission.

Because a healthcare company also has a role to play in public health challenges.

Because innovation becomes even more meaningful when paired with human commitment.

And because supporting those who work every day alongside patients is a responsibility we all share.

Eight Organizations Supported Thanks to Collective Mobilization

The funds raised during the 2026 edition will be donated to several local organizations involved in breast cancer awareness, patient support, prevention, and research.

These include:

These organizations support patients at different stages of their journey and contribute every year to improving prevention, quality of care, psychological support, research, and quality of life.

Their daily work deserves recognition.

The success of the Montpellier Reine lies precisely in its ability to transform a popular public event into tangible support for these essential local stakeholders.

A Local Initiative With a Broader Impact

Although deeply rooted in the Montpellier metropolitan area, the event’s impact extends far beyond the local community.

Over the years, the Montpellier Reine has become a recognized symbol of solidarity far beyond the borders of the Hérault region.

Its continued growth reflects a collective awareness of health and prevention issues.

The 2026 edition, with its record participation and donations, perfectly illustrates this momentum.

It also demonstrates the ability of associations, public institutions, partner companies, and citizens to come together around a common goal.

This collective energy is undoubtedly one of the event’s greatest achievements.

Let’s Continue Advancing Health Together

At Kinvent, we firmly believe that progress in healthcare relies as much on innovation as on collective commitment.

The Montpellier Reine reminds us that beyond technologies, equipment, and scientific advances, it is also human, supportive, and community-driven actions that create lasting impact.

We are proud to have seen our employees take part in this initiative and contribute, in our own way, to supporting such a meaningful cause.

Because every step matters.
Because every action matters.
Because better health is built together.

We look forward to supporting this inspiring initiative again in 2027.
