Scaling with Purpose: Meet Theodoros Marioglou, Driving Supply Chain & Operations at Kinvent

At Kinvent, growth is never accidental. Behind every product shipped, every customer satisfied, and every ambitious milestone reached, there are people designing systems that scale with purpose.
One of those people is Theodoros Marioglou, engineer, problem-solver, and the driving force behind Kinvent’s Supply Chain and Operations.

If you ask him to sum up his career in one sentence, the answer is clear:

“I’m passionate about building efficient systems and helping companies grow.”

And that passion is felt every single day at Kinvent.

A builder at heart

Before joining Kinvent, Theodoros had already explored almost every corner of business operations. Production, logistics, procurement, operational strategy—you name it, he’s done it. He also founded his own tech startup, where he learned firsthand what it takes to build, adapt, and scale in a fast-moving environment.

That startup experience also led to a defining encounter. At a funding event, Theodoros and Kinvent’s CEO, Athanase, found themselves pitching side by side—Athanase raising Kinvent’s first round, Theodoros building his own venture.

Years later, their paths crossed again.

This time, it wasn’t about pitching ideas—it was about building something together.

Theodoros joined Kinvent with a clear mission: set up and scale the Supply Chain to support the company’s growth.

Running revenue, not just operations

Today, Theodoros leads Kinvent’s Supply Chain and Operations teams, a role that sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and collaboration.

“Basically,” he says, “my mission is to run revenues by making sure everything runs smoothly from sourcing materials to getting orders out the door.”

On the supply chain side, his teams handle:

  • Demand forecasting
  • Supplier relationships
  • Production and logistics
  • After-sales operations

On the operations side, he works cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Finance, IT, and more—driving projects that improve how Kinvent works today while preparing the company for what’s next.

It’s a role that requires vision, precision, and constant adaptability. And that’s exactly what he enjoys most.

No routine, just impact

What keeps Theodoros motivated? Variety—and ownership.

“One day I’m solving a supply issue with a partner overseas,” he explains. “The next, I’m diving into process improvements or helping plan a new product launch.”

Every decision has visible consequences. Every improvement makes a difference. And that direct impact—on company performance and on customer satisfaction—is what makes the job truly rewarding.

At Kinvent, operations isn’t a back-office function. It’s a growth engine.

Ambition, humility, and teamwork

Ask Theodoros what he appreciates most about Kinvent, and the answer goes beyond technology or products.

“Kinvent is ambitious,” he says, “but also humble.”

People aim high, push boundaries, and innovate—but they stay grounded, collaborative, and human. Teams work together to build meaningful technology that improves health and performance, without losing sight of what matters most: working well together.

“It just feels good to be part of that,” he adds.

And that feeling is central to Kinvent’s culture: innovation powered by trust.

Innovating management itself

Among the many projects Theodoros has led, one stands out as a true game-changer: ILUO OpenAlignment.

Not a product. Not a device. A management innovation.

ILUO OpenAlignment was designed to solve a challenge many companies face: how to align individual growth with company performance in a fair, transparent, and sustainable way.

The idea is simple—and powerful:

  • Employees want to grow
  • Companies need to stay competitive and cost-effective

This framework connects performance, skills, and know-how with evaluations, promotions, and salaries. Team members know exactly what to aim for, and the company stays efficient as it scales.

The results speak for themselves. Along with other initiatives, it helped Kinvent consistently reach a 95% customer service level—a collective achievement the entire team is proud of.

More than results: shared moments

For Theodoros, success isn’t only measured in KPIs.

It’s also measured in moments.

He loves cooking, so BBQ days and preparing beef bourguignon for the team naturally rank high on the list. But one memory stands above the rest.

The K-Event 2023.

The whole company traveled to Chalkidiki, rented small boats, and sailed around Vourvourou together.

“It literally felt like a Kinvent fleet,” he recalls.

An unforgettable day. Amazing people. A perfect snapshot of what Kinvent is about: collective adventure, shared ambition, and genuine connection.
